Did you know that Sainsbury's recently launched a range of Sex Toys after one of their survey's suggested that "one in three Brits was not satisfied between the sheets".
10 years ago when I was a student this would have shot good ole Saino's right up there in my well respected stores internal checklist.
But now, I just find it a little disappointing.
Well a number of reasons - the first is assuming that what is needed to fix British sex lives is the electromechanical medical device that was invented in the 1880's to cure women of hysteria - the illness of having a womb!
It's not the solution - we need a whole paradigm change in thinking and behaviour around sexuality - not perpetuating more of the old quick tense vibrator induced clitoral orgasm that is over before it's even begun and depletes the body of sexual energy.
My sigh of disappointment is because the 'range of Sex Toys' consists of three cheaply made vibrators. Which yes have their time and place and no I don't expect Saino's to launch an Artisan Sex Toy range - stay tuned at KO HQ for that ;) - but it does reflect the liminal narrow perspective of what human sexuality is about that exists in the mainstream. The launch isn't about helping Brits out in the bedroom... it's about commercialisation and consumerism and filling a gap in the market that doesn't really deeply solve the issue at hand.
It's annoying especially since it's considered radical.
But it isn't... profound PUSSY LOVE is RADICAL my friend.
(Note: this isn't about Sainsbury's - just using them as an example of standard disconnected sexual thought that prevails).
Clitorises are the most phenomenal organs in existence and I can assure you that they do not require a voltage across them to whack them into action.
Yet that is not what most of the world believes.
And it is not what many of us experience either - hence me being in a job!
Female masturbation or female sexuality has become synonymous with VIBRATORS,
And yes they can be fabulous and I for one have had many an orgasm at the hand of one,
They also miss out so much of what authentic raw female sexuality is about.
Stuff I had no clue of until I stopped using a vibrator and masturbated consistently for a year without one!
The sexuality I discovered was soulful and deep, erotic, full bodied, surrendered, rippling, rolling, soft, sensual and endless.
I want every woman to know the truth and magic of her body and it's vast beauty and capabilities.
It is my vision to teach women all over the world how to connect to and love their bodies through holistic masturbation - this is what my Self Pleasure School does - and I also intend to offer this to teenage girls too.
First we start with true loving connection so that the body's natural vibrant sexuality can express, then once we have mastered that, of course we can experiment with toys and sensations and sexy fun.
But when we go for the vibrator first we run the risk of desensitisation, disconnection and disempowerment in the long term.
I celebrate your vibrators big and small, and I invite you to explore with me a different way to masturbate today...
I share 3 strategies you've never heard before to let go of your vibrator and unlock a different flavour of your unique sexual expression.
Sexual expression is key to full self expression which is key to knowing who we really are in this life.
Your Pussy is magical and she has so many gifts to give if you just put down the drill for a moment and let her speak - her language may be soft and subtle at first, but it will be oh so powerful.
You are magnificent, and your Vagina is full of blessings.
Wishing you the most phenomenal week ahead,

Epic love and Pussy wisdom to you,
